Weekly Screen Time Tracker

A printable weekly tracker that helps families monitor and manage screen time together. Children colour in blocks for each 15-minute interval of screen use, set weekly goals, and choose alternative activities from a built-in suggestion list.

  • Coloured pencils or crayons
  • Blu-tack or magnets for fridge display

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. 1

    Set Goals Together

    Sit down as a family and agree on daily screen time limits. Write the goal at the top of the tracker. Let your child have input — they are more likely to follow rules they helped create.

    Track Daily

    Each day, your child colours in one block for every 15 minutes of screen time. Different colours can represent different types: blue for educational, red for entertainment, green for creative.

  3. 3

    Choose Alternatives

    When the daily limit is reached, your child picks an alternative activity from the suggestion list at the bottom of the tracker.

  4. 4

    Weekly Review

    At the end of the week, count total blocks together. Celebrate if the goal was met. If not, discuss what made it difficult and adjust for next week.

    Reward Progress

    Use the "Weekly Win" section to write something they are proud of that week — a book they read, a game they played outside, a craft they made.
