Materials Needed
- Printed bingo cards (6 included)
- Scissors
- Small counters, buttons, or coins for markers
- A hat or bowl for word cards
Step-by-Step Instructions
- 1
Print and Cut
Print all pages. Cut out the 6 bingo cards and the individual word calling cards. Place the calling cards in a hat or bowl.
- 2
Distribute Cards
Give each player a bingo card and a handful of markers. Each card has a different arrangement of sight words.
- 3
Call the Words
An adult or older child draws a word card from the hat and reads it aloud. Hold up the card so players can see the word.
- 4
Find and Mark
Players scan their bingo card for the called word. If they find it, they place a marker on it. Encourage them to read the word aloud as they mark it.
- 5
Bingo!
The first player to complete a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) calls "Bingo!" and reads all five words in their winning row aloud.
